It's me again to give you another fic about Pokémon. I warn you that this is an AAMRN type fic, so watch out. Well, it has a bit of the AAMRN 'genre' in it anyway. You don't have to read it if you don't want to (I don't get paid either way), but read it anyway because it is a good read, especially for those who like AAMRN's. Oh, by the way, just a reminder that Pokémon is a trademark and credit belongs to: Nintendo®, Gamefreak, Creatures Inc. and 4Kids Entertainment productions. I wish I could take the credit, but no-one gets everything they want in life. I get more than anyone else out of it, though. Just kidding^-^. Enjoy. ************************************************************************************************ It was dark, not stormy, but still dark all the same. Ash, Misty and Brock were wandering through the forest. A deep, dark forest at night. They had a long way to go to get to the nearest town, so they decided to set up camp...again!! "Well, I guess were going to have to set up camp here" Ash said. "Ooooh, I hate sleeping in sleeping bags" Misty said. "I know, but we can't keep going through the forest at night" Ash replied. "He's right," Brock added "It's probably best that we wait until morning." "Oh, alright."Misty said. "Pika, Pika" said Pikachu. "Yep, looks like were camping out tonight, Pikachu" Ash agreed. "Chaah." Pikachu sighed. "Yeah, I know what you mean." Ash said "Well, at least it isn't raining." "Pika pika" It said in relief, thankful that it wasn't raining since there wasn't any shelter for miles. ************************************************************************************************ THIS EPISODE: PERIL, PASSION AND POWER - PART1: THE END OF ASH?! ************************************************************************************************ <><><> Meanwhile, nearby in the forest, three figures were spying on the trio. "Are you sure this plan of your's will work" said Meowth. "Of course it will," said James "I've thought of everything. That twerp will regret messing with us." "It had better work," Jesse proclaimed "I'm fed up with losing all the time!" "Don't worry, Jesse," replied James "with this plan I devised, we can't lose." "Well don't just stand there," Meowth said "let's put this plan into action" "Right" said Jesse and James simultaneously. And off they went into the woods to sprout their 'plan'. Our heroes, if you can call them that, would foil their plans ... or would they. <><><> It was late at night. Everyone was asleep. Ash, Brock, Misty, Pikachu and Togepi were sleeping soundly surrounding a stick-pile they had used as a campfire. The forest was calm. It seemed that the pokemon of the forest were sleeping as well. Suddenly there was a blast. No pokémon was awakened by it, though ... but Ash was. "What was that noise," he whispered to himself "I'd better go check it out" 'Pikachu can sleep,' he thought 'I can use my other pokémon if I need to.' <><><> Ash walked along through the forest towards where, he thought, the noise came from. 'It had to have come from around here somewhere.' he thought. Suddenly, out from the bushes came two rings. The next thing Ash knew, he was tied to the ground. Then a net flew over him and he couldn't move. "What the heck is going on?" he said, but before he could answer something came from behind the bush. "Hahahaha, Prepare for trouble ..." "... and make it double ..." "... To protect the world from devastation ..." "... To unite all peoples within our nation ..." "... To denounce the evils of truth and love ..." "... To extend our reach to the stars above ..." Then the figures became clear to him. "... JESSE ..." said Jesse. "... JAMES ..." said James. "... Team rocket blast off at the speed of light ..." Jesse said. "... Surrender now or prepare to fight ..." James said. Then out came Meowth. "Meowth, that's right!" It said. "Team Rocket!" Ash said "So, you're behind this. I'm surprised, I didn't think you were capable of doing things like this." "Well, twerp, You underestimated us, didn't you?" Jesse proclaimed. "That's right." James "Just because we failed a few times, doesn't mean were total losers." "I don't know about a few times," Ash said "but I'd think you were because you've bungled a few HUNDRED times." "How dare you?!" Jesse exclaimed. "We'll show you what were made of!" said James "Meowth, that's definitely right!" said Meowth. "Oh yeah," said Ash "what are you going to do?" "THIS, VICTREEBELL, SLEEP POWDER ATTACK!" James yelled as he pulled out a pokeball. Out came a large plant resembling a bell with leaves. It screeched as it released blue powder at Ash. "You wont get away ... with this ... Team ... Rocket" he said as he succumbed to the powder and fell asleep. "Oh, Yes we will, hahahahahahahahahahaha" said Meowth. <><><> It was morning. The sun was shining, the Pigdey's were singing, if you can call it singing, the trees were green, yada yada yada. Pikachu woke up and yawned as usual, but then came something unusual. He looked over at Ash, to find that Ash wasn't there. All that was left was an open sleeping bag were Ash, obviously, had been sleeping, but wasn't anymore. "PIKA PIKA," It said in shock "PIIKAACHUU!" This woke Misty. Half-asleep she asked "What is it, Pikachu?" Looking over, she realised. "WHAAA?!" she screamed. She crawled over to where Brock was sleeping soundly, somehow un-phased by Misty's screaming. "Brock, wake up!" she said as she shook him out of his slumber. "Wha-what do you want" Brock said. "It's Ash, he's disappeared!" Misty said. "What?!" Brock said in shock. Brock looked to find Ash's sleeping bag empty. "Where could he have gone?" he asked. "How should I know?" Misty answered. "I wasn't asking anyone in particular." Brock said. "Oh, right." said Misty. "Hmmm, I'm thinking he went through there" Brock said, pointing to a bush that had recently been rustled. "Well, what are we waiting for," Misty said "we've gotta find him!" "Right!" Brock agreed. "PIKA PIKA!" said Pikachu. "Toge-prrrriiii" Togepi said in delight (it WAS still a baby). <><><> They wandered the forest in search of their lost friend, but found nothing ... until they reached a path. Footprints! To fit medium-sized shoes. Ash's shoes. "Look, footprints" said Misty. "Ash must have gone this way," said Brock "we might as well follow them." "Right" said Misty. "PIKA" Pikachu said. "Togeprrriii" Togepi said. <><><> Meanwhile, up that same path, unknown to them, Meowth was deploying a dastardly deed ... planting fake footprints. "Hahahahahahaha," he said "those twerps will think that other twerp went this way and they'll fall into our trap, ahahahahahahaha" <><><> Brock, Misty and Pikachu followed the footprints. "Why would Ash go all this way without telling us" said Misty. "I don't know," Brock replied "but these footprints are the only clue we have to find him." "Pika pika." agreed Pikachu. They walked the dusty road. Pokémon scurrying in the surrounding forest. They ended up at a road intersection. "Which way did he go" said Brock. "I don't know," said Misty "maybe we should split up." "Good Idea." Brock agreed. "Pika pi." said Pikachu. "Brock," Misty ordered "you go right, Pikachu, you go left and I'll go ahead" "Right ..." said Brock "but how will we find each other when one of us finds him?" "Hmmm," Misty said "we'll have to use some sort of signal that everyone can see and when we do, we'll meet back here." "Right!" said Brock. "Pika pi" Pikachu agreed. "Toge toge?" asked Togepi. "That's right," Misty kindly answered "you're coming with me." "Togeprrriii" It said in joy. And off they went. Little did they know that Team Rocket had been watching them. "This is going to be easier than I thought," whispered James "with no-one with Pikachu, he's ours for the taking." "How lucky can we get?" said Jesse. "Like I said," said James "I've thought of everything." "You sure have this time." Meowth said "Now let's go grab that Pikachu!" "Right!" Jesse and James agreed. <><><> "PIKAPIII!" Pikachu called. Where was his best friend. Why had Ash gone out at night, and without him. "PIKACHUUU?" Pikachu yelled. Suddenly, out from the trees came a net that caught Pikachu by surprise. "PIKAPI!" It screamed in shock. "Hahahahahaha," came a voice. "Prepare for trouble ..." "... and make it double ..." came another. "HEEEEY," came a third voice "you don't hafta do the motto every single time, ya know" Out came Team Rocket. "Oops, sorry." said James. "We've done it so many times, it's become a habit" Jesse said. "PIKKACHUUUU" Pikachu yelled as he shot out bolts of electricity which ... did absolutely nothing. "Hahahaha," said James "shock proof netting. Did you honestly think that I wouldn't have thought of it?" "Anyone would be prepared having had enough experience capturing you." said Jesse. "Meowth, that's right!" said Meowth. "Pikachuuu." Pikachu said in defeat. "Hahahaha," said James "we've got pikachu." "... and there's nothing those twerps can do about it." said Jesse. "Yeah!" said Meowth. At that, they grabbed the net holding Pikachu and went off into the forest. <><><> Somewhere in that forest, in a deep, dark cave, Ash was tied up in a net hanging from the cave ceiling. 'This is just great,' he thought 'I'm stuck here and I can't get free because I left my poke-balls in my backpack back at camp.' He just sat there, really annoyed because: 1: Team Rocket had captured him, 2: the net was excrutiatingly and unbearably uncomfortable and 3: it was extremely freezing. It would be if you were in a cave with only a shirt and pants on. Then from one of the tunnels came laughter. "Hahahahaha" came a voice. "What's so funny this time?" Ash said. Out came the trio from Team Rocket. "Well, twerp," said Jesse "we've beaten you." "What do you mean?" Ash asked. "Well, see for yourself." said James as he held up a net. "Pikapii" came a voice from within it. Ash recognised that voice. "PIKACHU!" he yelled "That's right!" said Meowth. "We've got you're Pikachu..." Jesse started. "... and we're taking him to the boss." James finished. "There's nothin' you can do about it, either." said Meowth. "Team Rocket, I'll get you for this!" Ash yelled. "I don't think so..." James said as he pulled out a remote and pushed a button. Suddenly, Ash started to desend. "... as you can see, I've thought of everything ... including eliminating you!" "Waaah??" Ash yelled. "So long twerp" said Jesse as they ran off. "Team Rocket's running off again!" Jesse and James said in unison. "And this time we're takin' Pikacku" Meowth concluded. Then they all laughed ... and then they were gone. Ash was left there slowly desending into a pit. 'So what if I'm going down into a pit.' he thought. Then he noticed a Mine on the bottom of the pit. 'THAT MUST BE A PROXIMITY MINE,' he thought 'AS SOON AS I GET TO THE BOTTOM, I'M DEAD!!!' It looks like it's the end of our hero.
